New Pathways
in Neurosurgery
Deinde Medical aims to deliver
A new tool & pathway shifting how doctors will treat brain disorders - designed for maneuverability and precision developed by world-renowned surgeons.
Our Mission
Every year, over 13 million brain surgeries are performed globally.
Many of these procedures are highly invasive and require substantial post-operative care. Patients can range from infants to the elderly including those with other health issues.
When we look at the trends in other surgical fields, there is clearly a growing focus on shifting from open surgical techniques to Minimally Invasive approaches. In Neurosurgery itself, incredible progress has been made in treating neurovascular conditions such as aneurysms and strokes using interventional tools and techniques. Similarly, there has been considerable advance in using less invasive tools such as endoscopes for certain neuro conditions.
Deinde Medical aims to take these advancements in minimally invasive approaches and tools and broaden their application in new ways to address brain disorders currently treated through open surgery, with the aim to reduce morbidity as well as patient recovery time.
Our Pathway
With Us The Pathways Are Infinite
Paving the pathway is pioneer Dr. Ajay Wakhloo
~ widely acknowledged father of flow diversion treatment of brain aneurysms, who continues to challenge and disrupt the neurovascular industry with his brilliant life-saving ideas.
Deinde was founded in December 2019, as a spin-off from InNeuroco Inc., a South Florida-based product development and
manufacturing company that is focused on neuro-interventional tools.
The team at Deinde Medical has considerable experience in the development of tools and techniques in the neuro industry, both traditional Neurosurgery and Minimally Invasive Neuro Intervention. We have an eminent panel of Medical Advisors comprising Neurosurgeons (open as well as dually trained) and Interventional Neuro Radiologists (INRs) advising us on the way forward, and helping to evaluate our ideas and product development effort.
Our product development teams both internal and contracted, help us rapidly prototype ideas for testing. Our experienced clinical advisors enable quick evaluation both in tabletop models and in pre-clinical settings. We are building our IP portfolio, with a number of provisional patents in process.
We are excited about the work we are doing to help move Neurosurgery toward Minimally Invasive approaches!
Our comprehensive technological solutions help neurovascular doctors achieve greater success, but most importantly we provide them with leading-edge science to save and improve lives around the world.
